The cable has a excellant idea. The audio and the video are together. If your PC or Laptop Audio port is far from the VGA outlet. This product may not suit you.

This product has worked for me perfectly since the day I got it so there are no complaints. I am hooking my computer up to a 32 inch, 720p LCD TV and have not noticed any problems with HD videos. The sound quality has been great as well but I don't have the best ears for things like that so I can't say how high of quality it is. Overall this is one of the best purchases I have made in the last few years, especially when you take into account the price and how often its used. -- The best of the best for the price.

I use this cable to watch Shows and movies on a Dell Mini 9 through a flat LCD TV. I have been doing this for almost a year, and it works great.

2.Get a separate cable that has a speaker jack and a RCA end Belkin F8V235-12 12-Foot Y Audio Cable -- Works great for watching your computer on TV

I use it to watch on my tv while connected to my computer love it. -- Works great.

I ordered this cable about 6 weeks ago. I have not had any problems, and everything seems to be working great. I didn't give the sound quality a very good rating, but I think it's the sound quality on my TV that is lacking. -- Cable Works Great!
