Works as advertised. Getting around 55-60 MB/s transfer rate using this with an eSATA/USB external enclosure by ACOMDATA (also available on Amazon).

Much improved load times with virtual machines and large file transfers (.iso images).

The cable is a bit rigid. It's easier to use it if you keep most of it "folded" and strapped (or use the twisty tie that it comes with).

Connection is pretty snug; it's not likely to pull loose on you. Docked one star for slow shipping (took over a week) but otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. I've read some reviews of other cables where users had to "shave" the plastic off the boot to get the connector to seat properly. It didn't seem to be an issue with my ACOMDATA enclosure and my Dell E6400. -- Works as advertised.
