This product works beautifully! It's easy and the cord length is perfect for my laptop. I love this product because I didn't have to buy a separate audio cord; everything you need is shown in the picture and it's very portable. You don't have to worry about leaving a piece at home when you're taking everything over to a friend's house. Either you got it- or you don't. Again, LOVE this product- would recommend it to anyone that has a laptop with a s-video port. -- Awesome!

I was looking for a cheap, usable product to output the VGA video sigmal and 3.5mm audio from my tiny laptop to my (OLD) 27" RCA TV set. My TV set has one coaxial antennae port (not important in this context); and three RCA channels: Yellow (for video), White and Red (for stereo audio). So far the product has worked fine. The build quality is not great, by it gets the job done. Also the cord could have been a little longer.

I would recommend this to anyone with similar needs.
One thought : This is NOT a fault of the product. However after hooking up my TV, I found that I have gotten used to the much higher resolution images on my laptop screen, an didn't really use the TV much. -- Very good value for money

I ordered this cable so that I could use my Dell Latitudes (I actually have 3, the D600, D620 and D630) with my tv. I have a number of devices that are connected with composite cables to a switcher box that goes to my tv. All my laptops have s-video out, and my tv can't have s-video hooked up at the same time. So when I wanted to watch something from a laptop on the tv, I had to get out the s-video cable, and hook it to the back of the tv and my laptop. Then I had to hook up pc speakers to the laptop. This was a bit of a pain as adjusting audio meant getting up and turning a knob on the speaker. Volume in movies goes up and down all the time and with little kids sleeping upstairs I'd be back and forth quite a bit.

This cable made all those nuisances disappear. I keep it connected on the composite side to my switch box. I plug in the laptop video and sound to the other end, select the right input on the switch box and I'm good to go. Volume is now through the tv. The picture is great and it just makes everything so much cleaner. No more reaching behind the tv and feeling around to hook up the s-video.

The quality of video and audio are just as good as my old setup - using an s-video cable and pc speakers.
